Izzy Quinn Confirmed !

Local talent, Izzy Quinn, has been added to the line up for Le Cheile 2011

Izzy played at Le Cheile 2010 on the Creans Acoustic stage - and all that were gathered there to see her were completely bowled over by her voice and her passion. Keen to see a repeat performance we asked her to play again the following night, again on the acoustic stage. The crowd was awed and stood in perfect silence to watch her perform.
And we still couldn't get enough. Rarely would you find such an artist that would make a rowdy festival crowd keep their manners.
The following night we took a long hard look at the schedule, we shaved a few minutes here and there and managed to create an impromp tu slot for her on the main stage... and yet again the crowd was stupefied.

This year we are honoured to welcome Izzy back to the Le Cheile festival to support Ryan Sheridan in Caffreys Red Room on Saturday 30th July.

About Izzy

Izzy Quinn was born in England in 1992. At the age of five, her family moved to Ireland and settled down in the small village of Mountnugent near Cavan. Here Izzy attended St. Bridget's primary school where she was introduced to the tin whistle. This was like giving her the wings to fly. Before long, she began to put her poems to music. Now at the age of eighteen, Izzy has already built up a cataloge of original material which she is constantly adding to whilst following the passion she has for music. Izzy hopes that she gives you the same inspiring feeling that she gets when she hears great music.
