18 year old Chelsea hit the headlines when she billed with international singing sensation Eleanor McEvoy of “Woman's Heart " fame, launching her into the mainstream public limelight. Eleanor describes Chelsea as " an outstanding young singer/songwriter with a wonderful future in the music business ".
Chelsea continues to make waves in the music industry, recently performing at the magnificent Draíocht Theatre in Dublin, supporting another of Ireland's legendary performers Don Baker, who now duets with the dynamic Clara rose. She followed up that performance, appearing on the bill with the phenomenal Ryan Sheridan in Tabu nightclub in Meath.
Born in Dublin and raised in Meath, Chelsea has been writing and performing her own songs from the tender age of just twelve. Her greatest influence has been her father Mick. In the mid 90’s he ran a highly successful singer/ songwriter showcase, platforming such stars as Damien Dempsey and Mundy. Chelsea will release her first single, her own composition “Rainbows" later this year, a song that evokes an incredibly emotional response from her audiences.
