Where is the festival held ?
The festival is held in and around the town of Oldcastle, Co Meath (Map). Given the fact that we're a bit paranoid about the weather, the majority of events take place either indoors or else under the cover of a marquee.
Is there a bus service to Oldcastle ?
Buses have been arranged from Mullingar, via Crookedwood, Castlepollard and Collinstown. Bus tickets can be purchased along with your gig ticket from this website.
We are also working on providing buses from Cavan and Navan and will update you when we have more information.
What are the dates for this years festival ?
Thursday July 28th to Monday August 1st
Where can I buy tickets ?
Tickets are available from Creans Bar in Oldcastle or online from our website here
Do I buy individual tickets for just the headline acts that I want to see ?
Do I need a ticket to get into the Creans stage, The Street Stage and the Fincourt Stage ?
No, admission is free to these venues (with the exception of Monday August 1st at Creans Stage)
Is there a weekend ticket that will get me in to all gigs ?
Yes, but it's only available online and must be purchased before July 12th
Can I get tickets on the door ?
As long as the show doesn't sell out in advance then yes you can, but it is highly recommended that you purchase tickets in advance.

Is it a child friendly festival ?
Yes. Sunday 31st is the Le Chéile family day, there will be bouncy castles, facepainting, workshops, drama etc. Full details are available from here
Is there a charge for childrens events ?
For some activities there will be a small charge to cover costs. (About €2 - €3 per child)
Is there a full listing of everything that's happening at the festival ?

Do I have to book tickets for kids activities ?
No, however spaces will be limited so entry will be on a first come first served basis.
My child is under 18, can I bring him/her to a gig ?
Yes and No
The Cinema Club Stage is a licensed premises that operates after 9pm, therefore we are legally bound to restrict admission to persons 18 and over only. The gigs affected by this are: Robert Mizzell, The Academic, The Strypes, Big Generator.
Other gigs happening on the Street Stage, Creans Bar, The Fincourt etc have no age restrictions until 9pm (at the descretion of the venue manager).
