Best described, by an amalgamation of accolades received, as a stylist dance tempo’d quintet, melodic by approach and dynamic in deliverance. Crafted and contagiously energetic, oozing “the live” appeal.
GIGOLO ROCK? “In it to Gig” and progressively active since March ’14, (with a busy schedule and prospects ahead) the band have already notched-up 60+ successful shows to date (north-east & east coasts - Secret Cottage, Le Chéile, Vantastival, Tararocks, Carranstown & Irish Maritime Festivals included) and have enjoyed featured airtime and social media recognition courtesy of Dublin South FM, Dublin City FM, Dundalk FM, Cavan TV, Variety Online (UK & Oceania), Unsigned Radio Rocks (USA), 365 Radio Network (USA), and Radio Universal (to name but a few).
Gaining in momentum and vigour with each performance, building a solid reputation (AKA:) “The Jiggs” (just for internal fun?) have steadily become an identifiable noise impossible to ignore. Likened to a mix of Deacon Blue and The Beautiful South with a twist of Ian Dury doing a Joe Cocker, and with the attitude to match? Fuzz Gigolo, while retrospectively educated and influenced, convey a fresh and vibrant sound that packs a real “Radioactive” punch?
